Computer-aided design of lacunar fractal polygons

The main contribution is the automatic topology extraction of circle packing directly from the polyhedron generator of the packing. We encode the topology with the BC-IFS model, as it allows the encoding of topological rules of fractal structures.

Automatic construction of fractal structures with locally controlled lacunarity

Published in Journal of WSCG, 2024

The main contribution is a new framework for describing the topology of 2D fractal structures in a simpler and more accessible way than the BC-IFS model. The BC-IFS model remains the basis of this framework, as it allows the encoding of topological rules of fractal structures.
